Institutional Trust Product Manager

Job Description
Responsible for leading projects to develop new institutional
trust products for a specific product line. Gathers and analyzes
competitive data, monitors markets serviced, and participates
in sales presentations to promote the products. Acts as the product
expert participating in client discussions. Monitors revenue and
sales of the products.

Knowledge/Skills
Knowledge of institutional trust product management usually acquired
through related work experience is required to coordinate the
development of institutional trust products. Negotiation and client
servicing skills are necessary to consult with client discussions.
Planning, organizational, and leadership skills are necessary
to oversee the project development.
Major Duties
1. Acts as the product expert consulting with clients regarding
the institutional trust product's capabilities; identifies new
products which will enhance reporting capabilities for the client.
2. Gathers and analyzes competitive data and monitors market
trends and client demographics developing strategies for the development
of institutional trust products and services.
3. Consults with vendors or consultants to assess market issues
and feasibility of new products or enhancements.
4. Maintains a thorough knowledge and awareness of legal requirements,
regulatory environment, legislative changes, and marketing trends
in the institutional trust industry to determine the direction
for new products or enhancements to existing products.
5. Works closely with systems and trust operations areas to assess
processing capabilities of changes on existing systems and operations
and to determine the measures required for development and implementation.
6. Assists sales and servicing with new business presentations
to clients.
7. Consults on major projects to develop new institutional trust
products or enhancements to an existing product for an assigned
product line.
8. Monitors the markets serviced by the products. Follows target
market shifts in buying and analyzes trends.
Experience Required:
Minimum 12+ years of product management sales or related experience.
