Description
First level supervisory or technical expert position within the Performance Reporting Group. Responsible for the more complex functions in preparation of monthly performance and asset data for fixed income portfolios and may have supervisory responsibility for one or more associates. Incumbent is actively involved in the processes within the group and participates in the resolution of problems and establishment of changes to existing processes. Requires a good knowledge of fixed income investments, a thorough understanding of the concepts of security and portfolio return calculations and an understanding of the mathematical formulas utilized to represent and attribute returns. Individual identifies, analyzes and resolves problems with returns using established guidelines and controls. Working with management, incumbent improves current processes and efficiencies within the unit. Provides on-the-job training and direction to more junior associates in resolving complex problems. Individuals in this position would typically have three to four years experience in performance analysis or related functions for fixed income investments. This job is exempt and therefore not eligible for overtime.

Qualifications
• 2 -5 years experience working with fixed income securities valuation and processing
• CIPM and/or CFA designations or active candidacy preferred
• Experience and knowledge of investment performance reporting requirements, GIPS and SEC reporting standards a plus
• Ability and desire to learn and teach others
• Strong diagnostic, analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to balance day-to-day production responsibilities with long-term project work
• Demonstrated leadership qualities
• Excellent organization, communication and time management skills
• Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred
