Position: Performance Analyst - City of London

Reports to: Head of Performance
Purpose of Role:
To calculate and report performance to clients and the investment
management team. Assist with the daily maintenance of the performance
& attribution database and help in the creation of new ways
to analyze performance. Also, provide support to Client Servicing
and Business Development/Marketing functions. This role has the
potential to progress into a senior role relatively quickly depending
on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual
and annual reports for all applicable City of London Funds and
composites, eventually overseeing these functions.
- Assist in production of marketing presentations and documentation.
- Supply information for RFP's or supply necessary information
for Client Servicing.
- Help in maintaining and updating the Performance & Attribution
Database as required, as well as produce necessary reports for
analysis of performance and attribution.
- Support the development of new methods to measure performance
and assist in data collection and cleansing.
- Maintain current procedures and develop new procedures as
needed.
- Research the Internet and other sources for information concerning
performance & attribution and/or relevant research topics.
- Liase with consultants & clients on all queries.
- Assist with distribution of necessary reports to clients and
consultants - periodically (monthly, quarterly, annually, as
well as ad-hoc).
- Produce value added analysis on a regular basis for distribution
to Investment Management, which entails analysis of the firm's
funds over various time periods, giving insight into the sources
and trends pertaining to performance.
- Debrief and adequately prepare meeting attendees.
Requirements
Degree in mathematics or business, with very strong attention
to detail and ability to analyze large amounts of data. Experience
in performance and attribution or a related position.
