Position: Director of Performance Reporting

Reporting to: General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer
Position directs and oversees the computation, analysis, and reporting
of complex performance data. This is a highly-visible and dynamic
role servicing a successful global investment management firm
with a premium placed on timely and accurate production of daily
and monthly investment performance reports. All performance reporting
is done in compliance with Global Investment Performance Standards.
It includes calculating, analysis and reporting on as many as
seventy or more investment strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively supervise and manage Performance Reporting staff
of 3, including 2 off-site employees, and represent the group
before Company senior management
- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of all performance
returns at account and composite level Company wide
- Supervise the preparation of and prepare standard and ad-hoc
reports for internal and external audiences using performance
reporting software
- Supervise the preparation of and prepare daily performance
updates for various strategies
- Oversee preparation and/or maintenance of managed account
data
- Independently calculate, evaluate and analyze performance
results
- Supervise projects; achieve deadlines; ensure quality and
accurate performance
- Supervise annual GIPS® verification process
- Possess the ability to independently produce quality work
- Maintain familiarity with investment process and Company investment
products
Established Capabilities:
- At least eight years of investment experience with significant
emphasis on performance measurement and a broad exposure to
all investment categories, including the use of derivatives
- Experience as manager preferred but not required
- BS degree required, specialization in business, math or economics
(or equivalent experience) preferred
- Completion of or participation in MBA, CFA, CIPM programs
preferred
- Core knowledge of equity markets and investment products strongly
preferred
- Strong expertise in relevant software (StatPro) and analytical
methods preferred. Knowledge of Portia a plus.
- Strong computer skills required, mastery of Excel spreadsheets/worksheets
- Ability to produce quality work independently
- Experience in investment accounting is a plus
- Strong familiarity with GIPS® standards and applicable
regulatory requirements
